I notice I haven't shared much on Joseph Fipps yet.

I finished it last May, still tweaking a couple of details this morning.

The book will be published with "les editions La Pastèque" in November this year.

J'ai terminé les illustrations en Mai, mais me voilà encore entrain de faire des retouches ce matin.

I think I didn't understand the brief properly since I didn't illustrate a fractured fairytale...

Up the Wooden Hills dress for Audrey Grace boutique

Up the Wooden Hills is a clothe label owned by designer Lisa Marie Andersson

based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The first time I noticed her work was when Jaclyn Bethany, from Audrey Grace boutique,

asked me to illustrate one of her dresses. Remember?

Her style is elegant, simple and feminine.

And when I saw the looks of her Spring Summer collection,

I couldn't resist asking if she'd be interested, by any chance, to do a collaboration with me.

I drew an illustration and she made me the Colette dress in exchange.

And what a pretty it is! I can't wait to wear it when the sun shines in London.

Up the Wooden Hills est une jolie marque de vêtement crée par la designer Lisa Marie Andersson

J'ai dessiné une illustration et en échange j'ai eu droit à la très jolie robe nommée "Colette".

So cute! J'ai trop hâte de la porter lorsqu'il fera beau a Londres.

editions Milan

The week-end was absolutely gorgeous, warm and sunny in London.

And while most people enjoyed the sunshine in the park, having an ice cream or a BBQ with friends,

I was at home working and... working.

I am almost done on Joseph Fipps now. A couple more days and that will be it!

I have also started another project with "les Éditions Milan" in France.

Here's a first test I have done which won't appear in the book.

Il faisait un temps magnifique ce week-end à Londres.

Et alors que la plupart des gens profitait du soleil au parc, à s'empiffrer de glaces ou à faire des BBQ avec les amis,

j'étais à la maison entrain de... travailler.

Mais j'ai presque terminé sur Joseph Fipps maintenant. Encore un petit coup et ce sera tout!

J'ai aussi commencé un autre projet avec les Éditions Milan en France.

Je peux vous montrer un petit test qui ne sera pas dans le livre au final, mais que voici.

Hi there!

Oh I know, I am really bad at keeping this blog up to date.

At least, it still exists... I guess.

I have been pretty busy lately on various exciting projects which I can't talk about just yet...

so typical isn't it?

I am in the middle of finishing this book, Joseph Fipps, for La Pastèque.

And it's getting harder since the weather is lovely in London right now.

Hopefully I will have more things to share really soon!

Oui je sais, j'ai vraiment du mal à faire des updates sur ce blog.

Au moins il existe encore... sort of.

En ce moment je travaille sur tout plein de trucs super chouettes, entre autre sur ce livre,

Cela devient de plus en plus difficile de se concentrer avec les beaux jours qui reviennent.

Londres brille sous le soleil depuis plus d'une semaine et j'ai juste envie d'en profiter!

A couple of weeks ago, a lady called Jaclyn Bethany offered me to illustrate

the fictional character of her sweet boutique called Audrey Grace.

It will stock vintage beauties as well as some of today's prettiest designer clothes.

If you are as girly as me I strongly suggest you have a sneaky look!

Jaclyn will also sell some of my prints which you can see here and there.

A sweet collaboration- Nadinoo

As you may know by now, I'm working closely with Nadia Izruna,
from the gorgeous British clothing label Nadinoo.
You'll see more of her sweet creations in the coming illustrations of Adèle, from Rose à Petits Pois.
