Poketo X Disney

I don't talk much about my day to day job at Disney here. I like to keep certain things to myself.
Anyway, about 2 years ago we were asked to create a new look for Winnie The Pooh
in collaboration with Poketo.
It was open to anyone in the company to participate and I thought it was a cool opportunity
since I draw the old silly bear every single day at work.
The great thing is that my design was chosen!
The sad thing is that I didn't even know...
I stumbled upon the Poketo website by chance at lunch time.
A shame... I wished I could have shared with you a lot earlier!

Je ne parle pas beaucoup de mon travail à Disney ici. J'aime bien garder certaines choses secrètes.
Enfin, il y a environs 2 ans, on nous a demandé de créer un nouveau style pour Winnie l'Ourson
en collaboration avec Poketo.
Tout le monde dans la compagnie pouvait participer et je me suis dit que c'était une chouette opportunité
puisque je dessine Pooh tous les jours au boulot.
La bonne nouvelle c'est que mon design a été choisi!
La triste nouvelle c'est que je n'étais même pas au courant...
Je suis tombe sur le site de Poketo par chance pendant ma pause lunch.
C'est dommage... j'aurais bien aimé partager ça avec vous plus tôt!

Tulips

As well as illustrating children books, I love doing patterns for pretty dresses.

It became a part time occupation after I met Dasha (Mrs.Pomeranz) over a year ago.

We started dreaming of a collaboration in which she would design the dresses and I would illustrate the fabrics.

I have no great knowledge in fashion so it's been a very interesting journey so far.

Here are the "Tulips" dresses we did together which will be available to purchase very soon,

if not already, on Etsy and Dawanda.

I can't wait to show you the autumn-winter collection which is even dearer to my heart!

En plus d'illustrer des albums jeunesses, j'ai découvert une passion secrète pour les jolies robes.

Depuis ma rencontre avec Dasha (Mrs.Pomeranz) il y a un peu plus d'un an,

Je connais très peu le milieu de la mode alors c'est tout qu'un apprentissage pour moi.

Nadinoo (and me) for Anthropologie

Fleur's Hydrangea crops

Today, I am really excited to share with you a collaboration I did with Nadinoo

for Anthropologie (made in kind).

Nadia, from Nadinoo, asked me a couple of months ago to create some original patterns for her brand.

I had no experience on the matter, but I thought it would be nice to accept this new challenge.

I did several different types of patterns and drawings, some more flowery, some more abstract,

but I can't share all of them with you in case they get used some other time...

Who knows!

The ones chosen were the "English birds", "Hydrangea" and "Pears".

I was over the moon when it launched in Anthropologie this week!

What do you think ? Any favorite?

Aujourd'hui, je suis très heureuse de vous dévoiler ma collaboration avec Nadinoo

Nadia, la créatrice de Nadinoo, m'a demandé il y a plusieurs mois de créer des motifs originaux

pour sa prochaine collection.

C'était une première pour moi, j'en avais jamais fait,

mais je me suis dit que ce serait sympa d'accepter le défi!
J'ai fait différent motifs, vraiment tout plein, certains fleuris, d'autres abstraits,

mais je ne peux vous les montrer au cas où ils soient utilisés une prochaine fois... qui sait!

Anne of Green Gables

I love the sweet story of Anne of Green Gables.

I made this illustration for my dear friend Ale who got married last week-end.

She offered me the Japanese Anime of the story last year and I can't stop watching it!

Elle m'avait offert le DVD de la série animée japonaise l'année dernière et depuis je suis complètement accro!
