Petit ourson

A while ago the publishing company Les 400 coups offered me to illustrate a book with the sweetest story.
Now it's all done, here's a little sneak peak of my work...
A little bear can't find sleep during winter.
Written by Pierrette Dubé.

Il y a un moment de cela, les éditions Les 400 coups m'ont proposé un projet d'album dont l'histoire m'a charmée de suite.
Voici un petit aperçu avant la parution prochainement...
Un ourson n'arrive à dormir pendant l'hiver.

Audrey Grace

Lady Petrova dress

A couple of weeks ago, a lady called Jaclyn Bethany offered me to illustrate
the fictional character of her sweet boutique called Audrey Grace.
It will stock vintage beauties as well as some of today's prettiest designer clothes.
If you are as girly as me I strongly suggest you have a sneaky look!
Jaclyn will also sell some of my prints which you can see here and there.
Any interest at all please do not hesitate to contact either of us.
You can also find some of my dear friend Ale's work for the boutique here !

A sweet collaboration- Nadinoo

color pencils on wood.

As you may know by now, I'm working closely with Nadia Izruna,
from the gorgeous British clothing label Nadinoo.
You'll see more of her sweet creations in the coming illustrations of Adèle, from Rose à Petits Pois.
But in the meantime, here is an interview of myself on her blog here as well as some wood panels I made specially for her!
Ladies, if you're looking for the cutest summer dress,
I strongly suggest this beauty which I bought for myself a few weeks ago :-)
Oh and by the way, I also did an interview on the Character Design blog.
Thanks Randall for your patience and time!!!
I know I took so long to answer all your questions!

Joseph Fipps

Here's another project that I'm working on at the moment.
To say the truth, Nadine Robert has been thinking about for at least 2 years...
Back in tha days I helped her creating Nanouche who has slowly evolved into Joseph Flipps!
The good news is that it will finally be published with La Pastèque, a publishing company based in Montreal!!!
A first book for both of us, what a good reason to celebrate!
Let the adventure begins!

I ♥ Nadinoo

I thought it was about time to update this blog. Don't you think?
But beware guys! It's a very girly post.
As you may have noticed, I'm working on a book with a friend/writer which will be called Rose à Petits Pois
(yes, like the blog!).
Everything is still very much work in progress and we still have to find
a publishing company interested in our project...
But the story is utterly charming and hopefully I shall do it justice with my illustrations...
But before I show you more drawings, I wished to share with you the work of someone
who really inspires me.
Her name is Nadia Izruna and she is the one behind the beautiful British label Nadinoo.
(Ladies, if you don't know her already, I suggest you have a look at her beautiful FW2010 collection on Nadinoo.com!)
I admire her work because I'm simply in love with it (I could wear every single piece of her collection),
but also because it takes courage, commitment and faith to start your very own company like she did.
It's a pleasure to see such individuals working for what they truly love and doing it so well!

For of all those reasons, I wanted the main character of the book, Adèle, to be wearing Nadinoo.
And it simply suits her so well! (Thanks Nadia!)
The feminine shapes and patterns of all her clothes are lovely and really interesting to draw.
I cant' wait to do the whole book!
Adèle definitely has a wardrobe to die for.
